Historical Prop Firm Lists: Keep the Date Behind the Claim
An old ranking answers a historical question only to the extent its original evidence can be inspected. A title containing 2022 or 2023 does not establish today’s programme, pricing or availability. Keep the original publication and later changes visible before using a historical list in a current decision.

Give the source and the offer separate dates
Record the article’s original publication, any stated update date and the date of the underlying product evidence. A page updated today can still contain an older quote. Conversely, an archived source can be useful evidence of an older statement without establishing that it remains available.
Preserve the exact product and market named in the source. A provider may describe multiple routes, and a name reused over time does not prove identical conditions. Do not convert a later product into a claim about what an older purchaser actually received.
Read a fictional three-version timeline
In a teaching file, a 2022 note records a 59-unit entry quote for Product A. A 2024 revision describes a different route, Product B. A 2026 checkout supplies a 99-unit quote for Product B. Those records do not establish that the price of the same unchanged product rose from 59 to 99.
The products, dates, currencies and included services must first be aligned. Neither quote is a real current HashHedge price. The example shows why a source timeline matters before a price change or ranking movement can be interpreted.
| Record date | Recorded item | Limit of the evidence |
|---|---|---|
| 2022 | Product A quoted 59 | Historical statement |
| 2024 | Product B introduced in a note | Different product |
| 2026 | Product B quoted 99 | New dated quote |
| Current purchase | Exact product/contract needed | Not supplied by the archive |
Retain the version available at the decision
This site’s existing data-vintage work keeps later revisions from overwriting earlier observations. Apply it to programme research: store the rule version that existed when a plan was made, then append subsequent changes. The original record should remain readable.
A historical review cannot establish a current payout record, operating status or regulatory conclusion without current evidence. Mark those fields unknown where they have not been checked. Avoid treating a missing archived page as proof of either a present problem or a present success.
Move from the archive to a current check
For a new purchase, inspect the provider’s actual current product and contract. Compare the specific loss definitions, market and eligibility relevant to that purchase. Historical rankings can guide questions, but they should not supply unverified present facts.
The optional HashHedge link leads to current information rather than a recreated historical promotion. This guide provides no market-wide ranking and no promise that a named provider’s earlier offer is available now.
